Newsgroup Terms - PLONK
When you reply to a message on Usenet newsgroup with the word PLONK, it means you have placed this person in your killfile and will be ignoring their future newsgroup posts. PLONK is often used to filter postings by users that may be abusing Usenet newsgroups, or to avoid postings by particular users or subject matters. PLONK is a tool used to refine results using a form of a filter to display results minus those that are not relative to your search.
